This Privacy Policy explains how Fine Fare Brentwood ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and
protects your information when you use the Fine Fare Brentwood mobile app and related services (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. The App is intended for customers shopping with
Fine Fare Brentwood, located at 700 Suffolk Ave, Brentwood, NY 11717.
1. Information we collect
We collect the information you provide and the information needed to run the App and fulfill your orders:
Information you give us
Account information — your name, email address, phone number, password, and optionally your date of birth and profile photo. You can also continue as a guest with limited features.
Sign-in details — if you sign in with Apple or another provider, we receive the information that provider shares (such as your name and email, or a private relay email) to create your account.
Order and contact details — the items you order, your selected pickup or delivery method, and the contact name, phone, and email associated with an order.
Delivery addresses — addresses you save for delivery, including the location coordinates needed to check delivery coverage.
Messages and photos — messages and any photos you send to the store through an order's chat.
Information collected automatically
Order history and rewards — your past orders and your rewards-points balance and activity.
Device and usage information — basic technical information such as device type and app version, and a push-notification token if you enable notifications.
2. How we use your information
To create and manage your account and let you sign in.
To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders, and to provide pickup, curbside, or delivery.
To process payments and prevent fraud.
To operate the rewards program and apply promo codes and discounts.
To enable order tracking and the in-app chat with the store, and to provide customer support.
To send you order updates and, where permitted, promotional messages and offers.
To maintain the security of the App and comply with our legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the App:
Service providers — companies that help us operate the App, including cloud hosting, authentication and push-notification services (Google Firebase), image/content delivery, and search and messaging infrastructure. They may process your data only on our behalf.
Payment processor — Stripe, Inc., to process card payments securely (see "Payments" below).
Fulfillment — store staff and, where delivery is offered, delivery personnel receive the order and delivery details needed to prepare and deliver your order.
Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, staff, or business.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
4. Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is entered directly with Stripe
and is handled according to Stripe's security standards — we never receive or store your full card
number. We may store a secure token and limited details (such as the card brand and last four digits)
so you can reuse a saved card. See

If you pay with cash, no card information is collected.
5. Push notifications
With your permission, we send push notifications about your order status, replies from the store, and
promotions. We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service to deliver them.
You can turn off notifications at any time in your device's Settings.
6. Location information
We use the delivery addresses you enter (including their coordinates) to check whether delivery is available
and to estimate delivery details. Maps and address lookup are provided using Apple MapKit. We do not track
your precise location in the background.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. Order and
transaction records may be retained longer where required for accounting, tax, legal, or record-keeping
purposes. When you delete your account, we remove your profile from active use; certain order records are
retained only as required for the store's records.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of
data in transit and handling of card data by our payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is
100% secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices.
9. Your choices and rights
Access and update — view and edit your profile, saved addresses, and payment methods in the Account section of the App.
Delete your account — you can permanently delete your account from Account settings, or by contacting us.
Notifications — control push notifications from your device Settings and marketing preferences in your profile.
Privacy requests — depending on where you live (for example, under California law), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10. Children's privacy
The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information,
please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
Significant changes may also be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the App after an update
means you accept the revised Policy.
